Nobody is original

Our creative team thought we had this great idea to do a series called iGod. Very rarely are any of our ideas original but we actually thought this one was. Today I googled it and came across three different churches who either were using that name now or had in the past for a teaching series. Guess what? It is still a great, creative idea and we are still going to use it. I laugh so hard at preachers who are always trying to reinvent the wheel. Find something that worked and use it. Of course you can’t use someone elses stuff word for word, you need to add your thoughts and the stuff the Holy Spirit is leading you to use but I have learned from many pastors that being original normally means being boring.
