Just got back from Charlotte, NC. My worship pastor and I went to the Inspiration Technology Convention.
It was a good get-away and we had a lot of fun. Anyway that knows me, knows I am all about technology in the service so it was great to go see all the lastest and greatest toys out. I came back with a huge wish list. However as I looked around, it occured to me that as cool as all that stuff was, not one thing there was going to bring another unchurched person into the doors of RSC. Right now we are above and beyond what a church our size should be in the toy department. We need to focus on systems and volunteers. Now toys that help us do that better, I’m all for.
I will say this about Charlotte: It is a beautiful city. I could live there very easily. I am sure there are church plants all over but if there isn’t then someone needs to jump on that bandwagon because the area is booming.
