It was time to kill them….

I have talked about since about a month after starting this blog but I finally have had to do it. Today I killed the comment part of my blog. I got to the point where I just decided I am not going to give people the forum to bash what God is doing here at Ridge Stone. I can take the bashing and I have since we started this church BUT I’m not going to provide the place where they can do it. Plus that stuff gets me fired up and I want to post responses that are not very nice. :)

I have pretty thick skin. You can’t be a person doing something different in the buckle of the Bible belt and not be a person with thick skin. But I figure why spend my time on the naysayers. I dig Nehemiah when he wouldn’t come down from the wall because he knew he was doing a good work and didn’t need to justify it to those who opposed him.

I’m not mad but as we continue to grow (there I go about numbers again), I have found I don’t have the time needed to responde or monitor comments. Nor do I have the desire.

I will respond to one such comment. To the person who said they have attended our services and they felt like it was like a Amway convention. They said that it was all about entertainment. That offends me. Amway conventions are pretty boring so I think we do a much better job at entertaining then they do. Our service is way better then any Amway convention. The band is better, the lights are better, and we without a doubt put on a better show. :) Plus I’m a better dresser then those guys are the Amyway conventions. :)
Have a nice day…
