1. I am getting soft. Every time I see the Publix commercial with that kid making that Valentine cake and then giving it to his mom I get a lump in my throat. I am a wuss and I know it.
2. I wish it would really snow.
3. I am getting away the week after next to hook up with this guy, this guy, and this guy. Hopefully I will be hooking up with some other guys as well. Give me a shout if you want to hook up and live close to I-85 going from here to Charlotte.
4. Oh yeah, I am hooking up with this guy too.
5. We are taking about 25 people to Unleash. I can’t wait for some of our people to get to see what could be at RSC.
6. I am pumped about getting an assistant. I had a great talk with Taylor today and was excited to hear how she understands the responsibility. She is going to be great.
7. I am so pumped about the people getting IT at Ridge Stone. God is sending us some awesome people to go along with the already awesome people we have.
8. DeAnna is the greatest cook in the world. She made red beans and rice tonight and it rocked. Plus she is hot so even if she sucked at cooking, I would still think she rocked.
9. We are talking about homeschooling Ashlyn next year due to the craziness of my schedule. If we add a Saturday night service, I will never see her if she had a normal school schedule. Again, DeAnna rocks!!! I could never do this.
10. We have some GREAT series coming up at The Stone that have me pumped up. We start a series this week called SIMPLE and the next series is called Storybook and will about be about how to communicate the story of your life to others.
11. I am super frustrated with my blog not working on the RSS feeds, especially Bloglines.
12. We have about 90% of the office remodel done. We are so close to being done but it seems like the last 10% is taking forever.
13. New episode of The Office tonight. Love that stinking show.
14. Also been digging American Idol. Did you see that funny kid who looked like Jack Osborne? He made it through to Hollywood and he is the worship pastor at Chris Surratt’s church. That is cool.
15. I pumped about teaching at the ChurchPlanters.com conference. I am going to work on my breakout session while I am out of town.
16. Malcolm is teaching soon on a Sunday. I can’t tell you when because people seem to miss church when they find out I am not teaching, but I am excited for him. He is doing a great job and will do a good job teaching.
17. I think a lot of people are going to found out if RSC is THE church for them or not during this SIMPLE series.
18. We are already planning Easter. It is going to be a GREAT series and I am looking for the buzz that our marketing is going to create.
