Sunday Night Mind Dump

General, Mind Dump — Gary on October 7, 2007 at 5:01 pm
  • AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME Sunday. I am so excited about this series!!!
  • There was a huge buzz around today.
  • This series has the ability to be truly life changing, if youw will put into action what we are talking about.
  • Our team of staff and volunteers pulled it out today in a big way.
  • The feedback on our Project A.M. service was GREAT. Over 60 students!! Not bad for the first time.
  • I felt spiritual warfare HUGE leading up this series and our staff felt it even bigger!
  • If you aren’t praying for my friend Steven Gibbs, you need to start. What they are going through with their son is rough, but the way he has handled it shows the leader and man of God he is.
  • Georgia looked awful yesterday. AWFUL!
  • I love all the new faces at Revolution lately.
  • I love all the old faces too! :)
  • I can’t wait to tell you what we have planned for Christmas Eve this year! We are going to be the church in a BIG way to our community!!
  • We look at ANOTHER Jasper location on Wednesday. Please be in prayer about this. This is a huge thing for us. We ARE going there no matter what, we just need a location.
  • Had a blast at the Marble Festival in Jasper yesterday! God has given me a huge heart for the mountain towns north of us. Canton is the perfect place to make a huge impact as a spiritual belt buckle for the spiritual beltway we are going to create.
  • I need to make a trip to Anderson, S.C. It has been a while and I need the spiritual fill-up I always get there.
  • I fly to Tampa on Thursday. I fly out around 6:30 a.m. and will be back that night around 9:00 p.m. THAT is a long day.
  • I am pumped about ending our financial series with Joe Sangl in the house!!! If you attend Revolution, you do NOT want to miss the seminar he is doing Sunday night, November 4th. Email Preston at preston@therevoluton.tv and sign up TODAY. Space is VERY limited.
  • Baptisms are coming up as well!!!! If you have questions about what baptism is and what it means, we are doing a one week class on October 21st during our 9:00 a.m. service. Sign-up by contacting the office or E-mail Preston.
  • I love the rumors about our church I hear all the time in the community. Honestly, I do love them. Some of them are so off base that there is nothing I can do but laugh. It is sad, but I figure it the other churches are bashing us then that means they don’t have as much time to bash the people in this community who need Jesus.
  • Got to talk to Jason Noble yesterday. I pastored Jason and his wife when I was in Iowa and they moved down here to help us start the church. They moved back to Iowa a couple of months ago for him to get a job teaching. I miss him.
  • Cycling is HARD!!! Holy crap, it is hard and I am so out of shape that it is sad.
  • I’m liking cycling but I got to get better. Still very uncomfortable on the road. I’m a big boy to be on a small bike like that and it freaks me out.
  • Can you believe the stage today??? Amy and her team are insane.
  • Amy will be joining me during the churchplanters.com breakout I am doing on not allowing portability be an excuse.
  • Amy probably found that out for the first time reading my blog. :)
  • Been listening to a lot of Jeremy Camp lately. Digging him a lot.
  • I love and respect Mark Richt BIG TIME. However, he got outcoached in a big way yesterday.
  • Todd Lollis is a dude on JR Lee’s staff in Acworth. I’ve met him a couple of times and I like the dude. I bring him up because we had his twin in service today. This person looked just like him!!!! The funniest thing was this person that looked like him was a woman!! It made me laugh so hard.
  • Rode 10 miles on the road today. That really isn’t a lot but I was proud of myself and it took a lot of time. I’m slow and I am very freaked out by cars. :)
  • I dug the people dressed like pirates today!!! Awesome!!!!
  • DeAnna is looking for a chick to run with. If you attend Revolution and dig running, let me know. She is training for a half marathon. She just started yesterday.
  • I’m proud of her.
  • Drew Brees you are FIRED from my Fantasy team. I’m done with you.
  • I’m going to spend some time loving on my family, so I’m gone.
