Appreciating Budweiser….
I’m not a drinker. If I was I wouldn’t drink Budweiser. However, I have spent a lot of time at the Budweiser plant this last week.
They allow cyclist to park in their parking lot and go riding. Someone has actually marked on the streets 12, 24, 50, 75, and 105 mile routes leaving the plant and taking your through White, Calhoun, Reseca, and several other cities and leading you back to the plant. The routes are AWESOME, the streets are quiet, and the landscape is beautiful. Good thing they have marked the streets because I would get lost every easily.
It is amazing how many cars are parked there every time I park there. I guess living in White, Georgia has one advantage and that would be the fact that we have some of the best bike riding around.
So far I have done the 12 mile loop several times. It’s pretty easy though my time isn’t very good. Tomorrow Tim and I are going to attempt the 24 mile loop. I got to be honest, I am not sure I can do it, but I am going to try and one thing I have learned about riding is there is no turning back. Once you are on the route, all you can do is turn around but you still got to make it back to where you started so you might as well finish.
Skinny Gary coming soon!
