Good Friends

I have been blessed in many areas of my life but one of the most blessed areas of my life are the friends that God has put around me. In this crazy thing called church planting, my cup runneth over when it comes to people in ministry who I can call on in a moments notice.

We are making some huge decisions here at Revolution and in the last few weeks I have been able to tap into those friends for advice.

• There are few people I love more then Jimmy Britt and I had a blast talking to him this week and sharing with him some things we have planned.
• Had breakfast with Steve Gibbs last week and since he lives in the area, I got to get his feedback on what we are doing.
• Mitch Moyer from West Ridge came and gave his expert thoughts on some things we are doing.
• Tony McCollum came and hung out on Tuesday and picking his brain was awesome. I love the dude.
• I got to hammer out some advice from Tadd and even get to give him a little today.
• Today Jason Moorhead and Michael Brown from NewSpring Church came down for no other reason then I asked them if they would come down where I could pick their brain on some things. It is great to have friends like that.
• In the next week or two I am going to try and hook up with my friend Matt Evans and get his thoughts.

I hear church planters all the time talk about how lonely it is, but I got to say that has never been the case in planting Revolution. God has given me great friends and I am grateful.
