I will never understand when people are first time guests at Revolution and leave mad because the dress was casual, the music was loud, or because I am teaching on something they think I shouldn’t.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion and I am cool with the fact that we aren’t the church for you.  BUT, what ever made you think we were the church for you?  Did our marketing scream traditional?  Did our website make you think we were traditional?  Did our meeting place (the movie theater) lead you to believe we had a pipe organ and I was wearing a suit?

I guess I am surprised that people visit Revolution and are actually surprised by what they discover.  I’ve been in this thing for 3 years now and that is one of the things I will never understand.  It is just odd.
