Lessons God Is Teaching Me Right Now….
- I’ve got to get back to running my schedule instead of allowing my schedule to run me
- I’ve got to make time EVERY week to step away from the tyranny of the urgent and look at the big picture at the church
- My job is to lead and leading isn’t always popular, but nevertheless, I am called to lead
- I have to make time for personal growth
- Never be tied down to your structure. It must constantly be evaluated and tweaked
- People who buy into the vision don’t care what they are doing as long as they are seeing the vision fulfilled
- People do what you inspect, not what you expect
- The two most important things I do are lead and teach. Those are the things that should get 90% of my time
- If everyone is happy, I’m probably not leading
- People want to hear encouragement…I need to remember that more
- Mobilizing people to reach the community is one of the most fulfilling things I have ever done
- I must continue to seek and listen to God. NOTHING is more important
