Yes, I am proud…
Did a interview recently for a video and the interviewer was going along asking questions then he threw a surprise at me for the last question. He simply made the statement, “You are very proud of what Revolution has accomplished, aren’t you?”
I think he might have expected me to be humble, but instantly I said “Yes.” I am very pround of Revolution and what God has done here the last three years. We haven’t always done things right and I have made HUGE mistakes, but God has protected us and shown us favor. Yes, I am proud.
- I’m proud that we do everything we can to make Jesus famous
- I’m proud to pastor a church I would attend even if I wasn’t the pastor
- I’m proud to pastor a church where my wife and children love to attend
- I’m proud that the large majority of our people weren’t in to church before attending Revolution.
- I’m proud that the people who were active church attenders before coming here get that it is about reaching others
- I’m proud that our church is so generous with their time and finances
- I’m proud of the awesome team I get to work with every day
- I’m proud we at a young age invested in our first church plant by helping Pine Ridge Church
- I’m proud of Tadd Grandstaff and what God has done through him, knowing we had a small part in that
- I’m proud that our people let us mess up and still love us
- I’m proud that we honestly care about this city and we don’t just talk about it, we do something about it
- I’m proud that we have the opportunity to influence other church planters
- I’m proud that I love the people I pastor
I could go on and on all day, but YES, I am proud of Revolution Church and what God has accomplished here.
