• Pretty Rocking Day!
• Attendance was VERY good especially since it was the first Sunday of summer and pouring rain out of nowhere.
• We had a family chat today so there will be no podcast. Sorry.
• I simply shared my heart on 4 things God had been revealing to me lately.
• Thought #1 - We must continue to be only about Jesus
• Thought #2 - We must be cheerleaders of other churches, not critics. Did a little repenting here. Won’t go into details but I felt it was important to do as the leader of Revolution.
• Thought #3 - To reach those no one else is reaching, we must do what no one else is doing
• Thought #4 - We must embrace FREAKISH generosity
• In some ways, it was one of the most tense messages I have ever taught, but our people received it well
• Yes, I told our church their comfort was the least of my worries
• Yes, I told the men to grow some nuts and start leading their family in their finances
• Yes, I told our people if they were robbing God with their tithe not to come crying to us over their financial problems
• Yes, I told our people it is none of our business what others think of us
• Yes, it was an awesome Sunday. Our people can take the word of God being preached HARD
• Kicking the service with Summertime by Bon Jovi and beach balls was fun
• Announced that we are about 95% sure we have signed a contract on a building to launch a second location. We have one more issue to take care of and it is a done deal. We already have the keys but it is my prayer it is nothing more than a formality.
• The location is centrally located to enable us to reach Hickory Flat, Holly Springs, and Sixes Road more effectively. Continue to pray that God allows this to happen.
• Announced we will be starting a THIRD service at the theater this fall.
• I am sure we will launch with 2 services at our new location so that puts us at 5 services in the fall.
• Announced we are “officially” looking to move from the theater. We are out of space and it is time to start looking for land or an existing building we can build out. If you have leads on either one of these things, contact Tim at tim@therevolution.tv
• Needless to say, we are kicking summer off with a bang!
• Loved sharing with our church the vision of One Prayer.
• Got to brag on my friend Ross Wiseman and the folks at Embassy Metro. I did call them the FAKE theater church in town, but I am pumped about partnering with during One Prayer.
• I am so excited about what the future holds for us at Revolution!
• I heard we had a lady who was in the ER last night, yet she still made it into serve today. WOW
• Mitchell Harris who is our over our Connection Groups is on my bad list His son was playing around today and pegged me in the eye with something and my eye is literally killing me. It is pretty blood shot. I would kill him but he is a teenager who works his butt off at the church so I am going to let him slide. Though I might give him a swirly next time I see him.
• It is so nice to be in a place where God is moving!
• Blown away by our greeters out in the pouring rain with umbrellas helping people get in today. They are awesome!
• Everyone at church is getting motorcycles. Man, I want one bad. If anyone wants to buy me one, I will accept it.
• DeAnna is in cleaning mode so that means I am staying out of the way.
• Leftover roast beef sandwiches for dinner. Yeah…come on!
• I just found out I get a date night with DeAnna on Thursday!!!!!
• I am going to try and ride 4 times this week. Someone push me.
• God is good. No, God is AWESOME!
