Peace, I’m out…

General, Revolution Church — Gary on September 20, 2008 at 5:41 pm

It is Saturday night and I am getting ready to throw down with my Georgia Bulldogs!!! That is the a PERFECT Saturday night for me!!  But before I watch the Big Dawg Eat, I wanted to let you know I am more than likely out of the pocket for the next week.

As soon as church is over tomorrow, I am heading with the family to Florida for a week. I’ll be back next Sunday to wrap up our Ultimate Fighter series so don’t try to miss. :)

Anyway, that means no Sunday Night Mind Dump and probably no posts this week unless I just happen to find internet somewhere.  Have a GREAT week and let me give you a couple of blogs to check out this week that might not be on your radar to keep you busy:

Jim Carpenter - I consider Jim a great friend. The dude is passionate about building a church that impacts lives and I love that about him. He wears his emotioins on his sleeves about as much as I do. Check out his blog

Charles Hill - Got to connect with this dude the other day on the phone and we just hit it off. He planted a church in a town that makes Canton look like it is Atlanta. They now have 3 campuses and are blowing it up!!  He is also putting a conference on called The Sticks that is focused on doing big things in small towns. I love it! We’ll be at the conference and I am going to be part of a panel discussion on outreach.

Brian Bloye - This is my pastor. I know that sounds weird that a pastor would have a pastor but that is what he is to me. Brian pastors a church called West Ridge that started Revolution Church. Love what they are doing and his blog is worth the read.

Carey Nieuwhof - I had the pleasure of meeting Carey a few months ago and instantly he became one of my favorite people. He is doing HUGE things in Canada and his story will rock your face off. He is straight up a dude of faith!!! Love his blog.

I can’t wait for church in the morning as we are going to talk about a little thing called money. :)  I also can’t wait for church to be over where we can head to the beach.

If you start joneses to bad for what I’m doing this week, I am sure I will be updating Twitter though phone. You can keep up with our week by clicking here.
